What is a Split-Type DC System?

A "Split" or "Traditional" solar light system keeps components separate for maximum
flexibility and easy maintenance.

1. External Solar Panel

Mounted on top of the pole. Can be oversized (e.g., 150W) for cloudy areas.

2. DC Luminary

Our product. The LED head that runs directly on DC power from the controller.

3. Battery Box

Large Tubular or Gel batteries placed at the bottom of the pole for easy replacement.
